Eric D. Tims
Associate Attorney
Eric Tims is an associate attorney at Lavi & Ebrahimian, LLP, where he focuses on
employment litigation and class action matters.
Mr. Tims was admitted to the California Bar in January 2022 and has developed
substantial experience in wage and hour class actions and Private Attorneys
General Act (PAGA) litigation. During his career, he has contributed to securing
multi-million dollar settlements for employees in complex cases, including actions
against Fortune 500 companies. His practice encompasses all phases of litigation,
including drafting dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and
representing clients in settlement negotiations and mediations.
Prior to focusing on employment law, Mr. Tims gained valuable experience in
personal injury and commercial litigation, which provided him with a broader
perspective and complementary skills that enhance his current practice. This
diverse background allows him to approach employment disputes with a well-
rounded understanding of litigation strategy and client advocacy.
Mr. Tims combines thorough case preparation with strategic thinking to achieve
favorable outcomes for his clients. He works diligently to understand each client’s
specific circumstances and objectives, crafting approaches tailored to their unique
situations while maintaining a commitment to employee rights and workplace
fairness.
Mr. Tims holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bowdoin College. He earned his
Juris Doctor from Western New England School of Law, where he received Dean’s
List honors and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. While in law school, he
served as Treasurer for Paying It Forward, an organization dedicated to raising
funds for incoming low-income law students.
