Eric J. Naessig

Associate Attorney

Eric Naessig, Esq. is an associate attorney of Lavi & Ebrahimian, licensed to practice law in California. He represents clients in class actions and representative actions brought pursuant to the Private Attorneys General Act (“PAGA”).

After earning his undergraduate degree from Emerson College and two graduate degrees from Chapman University, Mr. Naessig enrolled in the two-year accelerated SCALE Program at Southwestern Law School. He graduated cum laude in the top 10% of his class, earning his Juris Doctor with a Concentration in Entertainment and Media Law with Honors.

During law school, Mr. Naessig served on the staff of the Southwestern Law Review, which published his law article and awarded him the Bluebook Award. He was a student editor for the Journal of International Media and Entertainment Law, a clinician for the Entertainment & the Arts Legal Clinic, a mentor for the Entertainment Law Society, and executive board member for the Intellectual Property Law Society. Mr. Naessig also served his institution as a Dean’s Fellow, a member of the Honor Code Committee, and a Teaching Assistant for several classes. His honors include the Dean’s Merit Award, qualifying as a brief writer finalist, making the Dean’s List, earning the CALI Excellence for the Future Award on multiple occasions for his top grades across certain classes, and becoming a recipient of the merit-based full-tuition Wildman/Schumacher Scholarship.

Prior to joining Lavi & Ebrahimian, LLP, Mr. Naessig worked on the talent and studio side of the entertainment industry, preparing employment agreements and drafting contracts for prominent actors, writers, and directors. Mr. Naessig also serves on the executive board for the Women Lawyers of Long Beach, an organization dedicated to the advancement of women in the profession of law.
