Jeffrey D. Klein

Head of Litigation

Jeffrey D. Klein is the Head of Litigation at Lavi & Ebrahimian, LLP.

Jeffrey’s extensive legal experience includes more than a decade of litigating and litigation management, with a focus on labor and employment law, including wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA cases, wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, and whistleblower cases. He has also been involved with landmark human rights litigation, lawsuits under Proposition 65, and challenges to work actions on behalf of union members.  He has overseen litigation that has recovered more than a quarter of a billion dollars on behalf of people who have experienced illegal practices in the workplace.

Mr. Klein has a longstanding career serving vulnerable and exploited individuals and communities. Prior to practicing law, he spent more than a decade working for non-profit organizations, including those helping abused children, victims of domestic violence, and the uninsured.

Mr. Klein has successfully certified multiple classes throughout California in a variety of industries, such as retail, manufacturing, and farming.

Jeffrey attended the University of California, Irvine School of Law as a member of one of the founding classes.  He externed for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in the chambers of the late-Honorable Stephen R. Reinhardt.
