Malcolm E. Clayton

Associate Attorney

Malcolm Clayton is an associate attorney of Lavi & Ebrahimian, LLP.

Mr. Clayton represents employees in California state and federal labor and employment litigation, focusing on complex class actions and representative actions pursuant to the Private Attorneys General Act (“PAGA”). Mr. Clayton’s goal in any representation is to secure a just outcome for clients through efficient and passionate advocacy.

Mr. Clayton received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Occidental College in 2014 and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2021. While at Michigan, he worked in the Entrepreneurship and Environmental Law & Sustainability Clinics.

Prior to joining Lavi & Ebrahimian, LLP, Mr. Clayton represented employers and employees in state court litigation and arbitration, and he provided transactional legal services to emerging growth companies.

Before law school, Mr. Clayton worked many jobs in Southern California, including as a data analyst at a community mental health center in East Los Angeles, a part-time SEO telemarketer, a temporary worker counting people leaving stores at malls, a lifeguard, and as a layout editor for a newspaper. He has worked hourly and salaried positions, has never crossed a picket line, and knows from experience that fair working conditions depend on the bravery of those who demand better for themselves and fellow employees.
