Matthew J. Gustin is an associate attorney of Lavi & Ebrahimian, LLP.
Matthew J. Gustin is a dedicated and passionate plaintiff’s side wage and hour attorney based in Southern California. With years of experience fighting for the rights of workers, Matthew specializes in handling complex wage and hour claims, ensuring that employees are fairly compensated for their hard work. He represents individuals who have been wronged by employers in cases involving wage theft, unpaid overtime, misclassification, meal and rest break violations, and other employment law issues.
Prior to joining Lavi & Ebrahimian, LLP, Matt ran his own law firm for a number of years, where he focused on wage and hour litigation in addition to other practice areas, including probate, estate planning and trust litigation. Matt has successfully litigated and resolved wage and hour class and PAGA actions at his own firm, The Law Office of Matthew J. Gustin, and before that, as an associate at Szmanda Law Firm, P.C. Matt has also gained valuable experience at a fast paced, prominent Plaintiff-side elder abuse litigation firm, where he successfully litigated individual and class-wide claims on behalf of the elderly and disabled.
Matt grew up in Orange County, California and earned his undergraduate degree from California State University, Fullerton. Matt attended law school at Western State College of Law in Fullerton, California, where he graduated summa cum laude and third in his class. In law school, Matt achieved honors in many courses and was a member of Law Review. Matt had an article published in the Spring, 2015 Western State Law Review.
